Senior Proposal Manager Performs any of the functions of all of the labor categories as required. Leads or follows as determined by the Client. Adapts readily to the Client's organization and culture.
Proposal Manager Responsible for proposal development, including maintaining schedules, organizing resources, coordinating inputs and reviews, ensuring bid strategy implementation, ensuring compliance, resolving internal team issues, and providing process leadership.
Volume Lead/ Book Boss In addition to performing all the functions of a Proposal Writer, maintains schedules, organizes resources, coordinates inputs and reviews, ensures compliance and bid strategy implementation, resolves issues, and provides process leadership for assigned sections.
Proposal Writer Technical/ Management/ Transition/ Other Specialty Creates and maintains content for technical, management, transition, and other proposal sections and attachments that require new material and/or reusable product and services descriptions. Validates content and outline comply with solicitation requirements and evaluate well against the evaluation criteria.
Resume and Past Performance Lead Writer In addition to performing all the functions of a Resume and Past Performance Writer, also develops templates, maintains schedules, organizes resources, coordinates inputs for reviews, validates compliance and bid strategy implementation, resolves issues, and provides process leadership for assigned sections.
Resume and Past Performance Writer Develops compelling resumes, cameos, staffing matrices, and past performance descriptions. Interface with candidates and program managers to elicit information required for compliance and high evaluation scores. Follow procedures and meet deadlines. Validate content and templates comply with requirements and evaluate well against the evaluation criteria.
Proposal Coordinator Maintains the integrity of proposal documentation, coordinates internal flow and review of proposal inputs, coordinates schedules, and directs submission of the final master proposal to production. Plans and directs the printing, assembly, and final check of proposal documents. This may include both traditional print and electronic versions. Follows Client-defined procedures for managing proposal artifacts.
Editor Edits proposal content for clarity, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, readability, and consistency based on agreed upon common terminology and facts. Develops acronym list, identifies undefined acronyms, and implements appropriate conventions for defining acronyms within the body of the proposal documents.
Graphic Artist Works with the proposal team to conceptualize and create visual elements that communicate concepts and persuade the customer. Follows Client-defined procedures for managing graphic artifacts.
Desktop Publisher Designs, formats, and produces proposal templates, documents, and related materials. Follows Client-defined procedures for managing proposal artifacts.
Requirements Driven Outline (RDO) Specialist Sifts solicitation documents and delivers a Requirements Database (requirements extracted into a MS Word and/or Excel file, Compliance Matrix (requirements list indexed by solicitation paragraph with a column for proposal section), RDO, and Planning Guide for page budgets and author assignments.
Color Team Reviewer Reads solicitation and capture documents. Assesses compliance and messaging. Provides constructive and actionable comments on material submitted for review. Provides feedback in the format and timeframes established for the review.
Color Team Reviewer (Compliance) Validates compliance of the proposal with the solicitation and delivers a list of non-compliances. Provides feedback in the format and timeframes established for the review.
Orals Coach Coach presenters on the messaging and style of the presentation to maximize the evaluation score. Develop and hone verbal content. Dorects audio/visual presentations. Manage and schedule rehearsals. Handle presentation day logistics if allowed and appropriate.
Orals Book Boss Outlines or validates/corrects outline for the oral presentation to ensure compliance and communicate messages. Works with presenters and other stakeholders to define messages based on win strategy and themes. Works with team to define slide design and templates; and ensure slide content communicates messages. Participates in color reviews and revise presentation as required. Performs as Orals Coach, as required.
Pricing/Cost Professional Facilitates development and implementation of the pricing strategy. Develop basis of estimate (BOE) and associated cost/price narrative. Completes pricing templates given Client data.
Capture Manager Develops capture plan, establishes proposal budget, assembles proposal team, coordinates solution development. Determines satisfiers and concerns of the source selection influencers. Assesses strengths and weaknesses of our solution against the competitors', and then develop corresponding win strategies and themes. Coordinate price-to-win activities.
Business Development Professional Works with the client to develop, maintain and execute a marketing plan. Meets with Government organizations to identify needs and introduce client solutions to meet those needs. Manages the business development pipeline and supports bid/no-bid decision making.
